Here’s the cleverest notion: Blingbacks are ‘shoe jewellery’ that not only turn the plainest of pumps into bejewelled party shoes, but have an almost invisible, soft silicone lip that prevents them rubbing your heels or slipping off. I tried Ellipse recently, one of seven styles including Christmassy Stars (pictured) and uber-glam Chandelier, and basked in the compliments.
